Javanese Primbon (爪哇命書)
Javanese PRIMBON — the Serat Primbon / Serat Pawukon almanac, a new Indonesian tradition. Reads a birth-date in two interlocking cycles. The WETON pairs the 7-day Saptawara (Minggu…Sabtu) with the 5-day Pasaran market week (Legi, Pahing, Pon, Wage, Kliwon); each day has a NEPTU value and a person's neptu is their sum (7–18), repeating every 35 days (selapan). The PAWUKON is the 210-day cycle of 30 wuku, each with a guardian deity, tree, bird, and temperament. From the neptu it derives the Pancasuda (5-fold: Sri/Lungguh/Gedhong/Lara/Pati) and the seven-fold watak (Wasesa Segara … Lebu Katiup Angin) character lots; with a partner's date it adds the Jodoh (Petung) marriage-compatibility table (Pegat/Ratu/Jodoh/Topo/Tinari/Padu/Sujanan/Pesthi). Pure calendar math (JDN, Pawukon epoch (JDN−146) mod 210), locked against the Balinese holy-day anchors Galungan and Kuningan and eleven gold weton vectors. Deterministic and symbolic — Javanese cultural divination, not prediction.
