Parashat HaShavua (פרשת השבוע) (每週妥拉篇章)

PARASHAT HASHAVUA — the weekly Torah portion, the world's largest synchronized reading cycle: every Shabbat, in every synagogue, one of the Torah's 54 portions, the cycle closing and restarting each Simchat Torah. Served GAZETTE-CLASS for Hebrew years 5785–5788 in BOTH regions — Israel and the diaspora genuinely diverge for weeks at a time, and the tables carry the divergence exactly (5786: Israel reads Nasso on 23 May 2026 while the diaspora keeps the festival; they reconverge at the diaspora's Chukat-Balak on 27 June). THE TABLES PROVE THEMSELVES AT LOAD: all 386 dated rows are Saturdays; each year-region forms one CONTIGUOUS run of the 54-portion canon with doubles only from the seven legal pairs; every cycle ends on Nitzavim within the week before the HEBREW ENGINE'S OWN Rosh Hashanah; and the 5786 divergence opens exactly where that engine places diaspora's second Shavuot day (7 Sivan = 23 May 2026) on Shabbat — the Chukat-Balak mechanism DERIVED cross-engine, not asserted. Witness A the published Hebcal year schedules parsed raw; witness B the keystone row independently corroborated by two unrelated congregational publications. Festival Shabbatot served honestly as gaps with the next portion named; outside years refused with the fourteen-keviyot algorithm named as future work. Kabbalistic becomes 6. Pure compute, no LLM.
