Daf Yomi (Daily Talmud Page) (每日塔木德)

DAF YOMI — the daily page: the worldwide synchronized study of the Babylonian Talmud, one daf a day through all 2,711 pages in a 7½-year cycle, proposed by Rabbi Meir Shapiro at Vienna in 1923 and marked ever since by the stadium-filling Siyum HaShas. Any date since 11 September 1923 returns its daf (tractate + page), cycle number, day-of-cycle with progress, and the cycle's own dates. THE ARITHMETIC PROVES ITSELF at load: the forty masechta lengths satisfy Σ(blatt−1) = 2,711 exactly (pagination starts at daf 2); BOTH historical regimes are served (cycles 1–7 ran 2,702 days with Shekalim as 13 blatt; from cycle 8, 24 June 1975, the modern 2,711); the continuation pagination is honored and verified (Kinnim, Tamid and Midos print as continuations of Meilah — Kinnim opens at daf 23, Tamid at 26, Midos at 34); and the famous anchors lock it (cycle 14 opening 5 January 2020 at Berachot 2 — the MetLife Siyum's week — closing at Niddah 73 on 7 June 2027, cycle 15 opening 8 June). Implemented from the public-domain daf.el lineage (Bob Newell, 1998) with the accepted Tamid/Midos division fix; the tractate table byte-identical to the reference source. A study calendar served beside the catalogue's other computi (the Hebrew calendar, zmanim, the Omer). Pure computation, no LLM.
