Matariki (Māori New Year) (毛利新年)

The Māori New Year of Aotearoa New Zealand, served from the OFFICIAL statutory table: the Matariki Advisory Committee's dates 2022–2052 (Prof. Rangi Matamua's Tangaroa-of-Pipiri method — 'Ka puta Matariki i ngā Tangaroa', the heliacal rising of the Pleiades viewed in the waning Tangaroa phases of the lunar month of Pipiri), enacted by the Te Kāhui o Matariki Public Holiday Act 2022. All 31 dates carried verbatim with the Tangaroa viewing window for each year; two laws machine-asserted at load (every holiday a Friday — the Act's rule — and the ~354/384-day lunar-year gap band between successive dates); the eight celebration phases (Tangaroa-ā-mua through Mutuwhenua) honouring Tangaroa, Tāne and Rongo served with the report's own framing. HONEST: iwi traditions that mark the year by Puanga, Atutahi or Rehua are named, not blended; dates beyond 2052 are refused, never extrapolated; the full 30-night maramataka is deferred until a complete authoritative table is double-sourced.
