Yoruba Calendar (Kọ́jọ́dá) (約魯巴曆)
THE YORUBA CALENDAR (Kọ́jọ́dá — 'may the day be clear'): the year-count of the Oodua world, its new year on 3 JUNE when the Ifá festival opens and the priests cast the annual oracle; 2026 stands in year 10,068. THE STRUCTURE IS A 364-DAY COUSIN of the catalogue's perennial family, the theorem asserted: a FOUR-DAY WEEK (Obatala's day, Orunmila's, Ogun's, Sango's — each with its Orisha company), seven weeks to the month, thirteen months to the year — 4 × 7 × 13 = 364 = 91 four-day weeks, the same arithmetic as the Qumran, Kodak and Positivist years reached independently on a four-day base, the market rhythm of Yorubaland still running on the four-day round. THE ERA SAYS SO (the eras-that-say-so lineage): the count was FIXED so 1958 was the ten-thousandth year — the modern Oodua revival's own construction, the identity a load law — and CE + 8042 reproduces every published new-year number (10,059 in 2017 through 10,068 in 2026). The fixed June 3 disclosed as the revival's convention over the traditional late-May moon; the ITADOGUN (Ifá's 17-day divination cycle) named as the tradition's other clock. African becomes eight systems. Pure compute, no LLM.
