Get organization

Retrieve a single organization by its CIN (IČO). Returns the basic organization record.

When a CIN exists in both SK and CZ registers and no country parameter is specified, the API returns a 300 Multiple Choices response listing both options.

Use include=vat to embed VAT payer status and tax reliability in the response (SK organizations only).

Query parameters

country'SK' | 'CZ'

Country code. When omitted and the CIN exists in only one country, that record is returned. If the CIN exists in both countries, a 300 Multiple Choices response is returned with both options.

Include additional data. Use vat to embed VAT payer status and tax reliability from the Slovak Financial Administration (SK organizations only).

name_highlightedstring nullable

Company name with highlight markers wrapped around matched terms. Present when the name parameter is used and full-text search handles the query. Matches include typo-tolerant hits, prefix matches, and diacritics-normalized matches (e.g. query "pijak" highlights "Piják").

Matched segments are wrapped in __hl__ (pre) and __/hl__ (post) markers. For example, searching for "google" returns "__hl__Google__/hl__ Slovakia, s.r.o.".

To render highlights in your UI, split on these markers and wrap the inner text — e.g. in HTML: <mark>Google</mark> Slovakia, s.r.o..

This field is null or absent when results come from the database fallback (e.g. address or CIN queries, or when full-text search is temporarily unavailable).

When we last wrote this record, not when the register last changed the company. Every sync stamps the rows it touches, and a full re-import stamps all of them, so this moves for reasons that have nothing to do with the company. For "what changed about this company and when", use /changes, which says what changed as well as when.
