Get the replies to one comment (its thread) by video URL or numeric video ID plus the comment ID. Returns each reply's text, author, like count, and date, about 50 per page. Supports fetching multiple pages in a single API call (billed per page).

Query parameters

urlstring

TikTok video URL, e.g. https://www.tiktok.com/@tiktok/video/7516594811734854943 (max 500 characters). Short links are accepted. Provide exactly one of url or video_id.

video_idstring

Numeric TikTok video ID: the number at the end of a video URL. Provide exactly one of url or video_id.

comment_idstring required

Numeric ID of the comment, as returned by Video Comments

pagesinteger

Number of pages to fetch, 1-1000 (default: 1). Each page returns up to 50 replies.

get_sentimentboolean

Set to true to add AI emotion analysis to each item. Adds a sentiment object containing emotions (joy, trust, fear, surprise, sadness, disgust, anger and anticipation, each scored 0-100), dominant_emotion, emotional_intensity (0-10), and polarity (positive, negative or neutral). Any item that cannot be scored returns sentiment: null.
