Start a drop

Open a drop: one piece of work that can carry a brief from research through concepts, a plan, generation and assembly. Give it the goal in a sentence. Starting one only opens it and costs no credits: nothing is planned until the brief is sent to POST /v1/engine/chat with this drop's run_id, which begins the planning. The drop may ask clarifying questions before it plans, and every step that would charge credits waits for POST /v1/engine/runs/{id}/approve.

titlestring

Optional short name. Defaults to the first words of the goal.

approval_mode'confirm_each'

confirm_each is the default and, today, the only mode: the drop stops for a decision before every step that charges credits. Omit it.

budget_creditsinteger nullable

Credit ceiling for this drop; a step that would pass it stops instead, and approving cannot lift it.

canvas_idstring

Optional: one of your boards for the drop to work on. What the drop lays out goes on that board. A board that is not yours, or does not exist, is refused with 404 CANVAS_NOT_FOUND before any drop is opened.
