Send Enquiries

Bulk-send enquiries to selected venues.

For each venue:

  • Generate tracking_token + claim_token
  • Look up venue contacts (email / phone / whatsapp)
  • If email exists: dispatch via notification_dispatch_service (template_key='venue_enquiry_request', channel='email')
  • If only WhatsApp: create the enquiry record with channel='whatsapp_user_relay' and return wa.me deep link — the ORGANISER opens it from the frontend
  • If only phone (no whatsapp): same as whatsapp_user_relay path but with phone instead

Atomicity: each enquiry is created in its own try/except so a single failure doesn't kill the batch. Returns per-venue results.

Side-effect: if any enquiry sends successfully, transitions the planning session status to 'awaiting_responses'.
