Confirm Booking

Lock in the chosen option. Writes a venue_booking_confirmations row, sends a confirmation email to the venue (if the venue has an email on the enquiry), and transitions the session → booking_pending.

Pre-conditions:

  • session.status in (gathering_options, awaiting_responses, comparing)
  • exactly one venue_booking_option must have selected_by_user=True
