Get Food Now

Where's the food? Returns live food offers sorted by available_now + proximity. Handles multilingual queries like 'sadza riripi', 'nyama choma wapi'.

2026-05-23 — Accepts an optional session so signed-in viewers get their dismissed activities filtered out of the food rail. A food offer can link back to an activity via lo.activity_id (e.g. food listed by an activity organiser as part of their event); if the user has downvoted that activity, the linked offer is hidden too so the food rail can't become a backdoor for re-surfacing rejected activities (the "food backdoor" the audit called out). Guest callers behave exactly as before (no filter).
