Sends a short bounded probe text to the Query-profile snippet embedding client and returns sanitized success or failure metadata. Reports a non-throwing "not configured" result (rather than calling the provider) when AppSettings:Llm:Embeddings:Enabled is false, the API key is unset, or the key still holds its appsettings.json placeholder value.
