The stable route serves a committed, blessed zip; this one serves whatever is on HEAD. Install this on ONE test site, confirm the new routes behave against a real WordPress, and only then promote: wordpress-plugin/build.sh and commit the zip, which makes this exact build the stable download.

Existing connector releases have shipped changes that were never exercised against a live install — this is the step that was missing.
