SearchSecFilings

SearchSecFilings runs a full-text search over SEC EDGAR filings with optional form-type and date-range filters.

Request

  • Auth: one of:
    • API key in header X-WorldMonitor-Key

Query parameters

querystring required

Full-text query, such as "material weakness" or a company name. Required.

formsstring

Comma-separated form-type filter, such as "8-K" or "10-K,10-Q".

start_datestring

Earliest filing date to include (YYYY-MM-DD).

end_datestring

Latest filing date to include (YYYY-MM-DD).

limitinteger

Maximum results to return (default 10, capped at 25).

jmespathstring

Optional JMESPath expression applied server-side to project or reduce the JSON response before it is returned (mirrors the MCP jmespath argument). Invalid expressions, expressions larger than 1024 UTF-8 bytes, or projections that exceed the 256 KB output cap return HTTP 400 with a {_jmespath_error, original_keys} envelope.
