GetWorldCpiMonthly

GetWorldCpiMonthly returns one national CPI series per country, worldwide. The per-country source is chosen by precedence (national overlay, then HICP for Europe, then IMF, then OECD) with a staleness fall-through, so each row carries its source, frequency and index base. Month-over-month and year-over-year changes are computed from that index; levels are not comparable across sources. history=false is the latest period per country. history=true is the stored 10-year window.

Query parameters

historyboolean

When true, return every stored period. When false, return only the latest period per country.

countrystring

Optional ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 filter. When set, only that country is returned.

limitinteger

Maximum recent observations per series, up to 366. Omit or use zero for the full stored history.

jmespathstring

Optional JMESPath expression applied server-side to project or reduce the JSON response before it is returned (mirrors the MCP jmespath argument). Invalid expressions, expressions larger than 1024 UTF-8 bytes, or projections that exceed the 256 KB output cap return HTTP 400 with a {_jmespath_error, original_keys} envelope. Grammar and worked examples: https://www.worldmonitor.app/docs/mcp-jmespath.

Response

OK

unavailableboolean

True when every seeded series is unavailable. An empty country list is not a zero print.
