Query normalized Census BPS county-month permit rows

Returns public, normalized Census Building Permits Survey county-month rows from Worldcastr's R2-backed permit/zoning surface. Defaults to the latest current-month partition and a capped row limit. For contract-style settlement, specify county_fips, year, month, and kind=current_month.

Query parameters

yearinteger

Four-digit survey year. Supply together with month unless history=true.

monthinteger

Survey month. Supply together with year unless history=true.

kind'current_month' | 'year_to_date'

Census BPS file kind.

county_fipsstring

Optional 5-digit county FIPS filter.

state_fipsstring

Optional state FIPS filter. Single-digit values are left-padded by the API.

limitinteger

Maximum rows to return.

historyboolean

Return a county time series across available partitions. Requires county_fips.

summaryboolean

Return manifest and partition metadata without row payloads.
