This method helps you to verify a Philippine Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) registered professional against the legal source.

Request Notes

PRC verification has two search modes and they are mutually exclusive. Send exactly one of them:

• License number mode: license_number and birth_date, both mandatory when you use this mode.
• Name mode: first_name and last_name, both mandatory when you use this mode.
• profession is mandatory in both modes.
• Because the mode is your choice, profession is the only property marked as required in the request schema; the fields of the mode you send become mandatory for that request, and the fields of the other mode must be omitted.
• license_number is 4 to 7 digits, numeric only. birth_date is in DD-MM-YYYY format.
• Sending fields from both modes in a single request returns 400 with Verification using license number and name must be separated., while sending neither mode returns 400 with Provide either license_number with birth_date, or first_name with last_name.
• reference_id is optional. When it is empty, a UUID is generated and returned in the response. It must be unique per service: reusing a reference_id returns Transaction already created for this reference_id.

Response Notes

status returns VERIFIED when the registered professional is found and REJECTED when it is not found. data is omitted when the status is REJECTED, and the fields inside data follow the search mode: the license number mode returns the full license record, while the name mode returns the identity fields only.
