Update a user identifier by ID

Updates an existing identifier of a given user used for transaction reporting.

Request body

identifierstring required

Identifier value. Omit this field when identifier_standard is CONCAT: the value is generated by Upvest from the user's name and date of birth. See the User identifiers guide (TOL / BYOL).

Response

The user identifier is updated.

idstring uuid required

Unique identifier of the user identifier resource, as a UUID.

created_atstring date-time required

Date and time when the resource was created. RFC 3339-5, ISO8601 UTC

updated_atstring date-time required

Date and time when the resource was last updated. RFC 3339-5, ISO8601 UTC

user_idstring uuid required

Unique identifier of the user, as a UUID.

identifier_standardstring required

Identifier standard abbreviation. If it is not provided, the issuing country's 1st priority identifier standard is used by default. Use CONCAT to submit a CONCAT identifier. See the User identifiers guide (TOL / BYOL).

identifierstring required

Identifier type.

  • NATIONAL_ID — national identity card number issued by the user's country.
  • PASSPORT — passport number issued by the user's country.
