GET /api/commodities/rates

Get live commodity prices with optional amount conversion (Pro subscription required). 19 commodities: gold, silver, platinum, palladium (troy oz); WTI and Brent crude (barrel), US Henry Hub natural gas (MMBtu); copper, aluminium, zinc, nickel, lead, tin (tonne); wheat, corn (tonne), coffee, sugar, cocoa, cotton (kg). Precious metals are blended live from LBMA and market feeds; energy, base metals and agriculturals are World Bank reference prices (CC BY 4.0, attribution: The World Bank).

api_keystring required

API key for authentication (Pro tier required)

amountnumber

Amount to convert (optional)

fromstring

Base symbol (commodity code such as XAU, BRENT, XCU, WHEAT — or USD). Defaults to USD.

tostring

The symbol to convert to (optional). If not specified, returns rates for all commodities.

format'json' | 'xml' | 'csv' | 'tsv'

The format of the response (optional).

callbackstring

The name of the JSONP callback function (optional). Only used when format is 'json'. Must be alphanumeric with underscores.
