Smart evidence research with automatic tier fallback

Smart endpoint with automatic tier fallback — recommended for most agent use cases.

Tries cached lookup first (instant, £0.02). On cache miss, escalates through consensus → quick → full up to the tier specified by max_tier. You're only charged for the tier actually executed.

Fallback chain: lookup → consensus → quick → full

Set ?async=true to get a 202 with a pollUrl when the pipeline has to run, instead of one silent connection for the whole run (proxies close a connection idle for ~125 s). Cache and consensus hits still answer at once.

Response headers: X-Check-Id, X-Tru8-Tx-Id

Request

  • Base URL: https://api.trueight.com (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
  • URL: https://api.trueight.com/api/v1/agent/check
  • Auth: none declared

Query parameters

asyncboolean

Headers

Idempotency-Keystring nullable

Request body

claimstring required

The claim text to analyse, or a URL to extract claims from

input_typestring nullable

Input type: 'text' or 'url'. Auto-detected from the claim field if omitted.

max_tierstring

Maximum pipeline tier to execute. The endpoint tries lookup first, then escalates up to this tier. Options: lookup, consensus, quick, full.

max_age_hoursinteger nullable

Maximum cache age in hours for lookup hits. If the cached result is older than this, it's treated as a miss and the endpoint escalates.

compactboolean

If true, returns claims and claim maps only — no evidence arrays.

Response

Evidence landscape returned (check _meta.executedTier for which tier was used, hit for cache status)

idstring required

Check ID (UUID)

status'processing' | 'waiting_for_selection' | 'completed' | 'failed' required

Pipeline status values.

hitboolean nullable

Cache hit indicator (true = served from cache, absent = fresh pipeline run)

computedobject nullable

(JSON key: _computed) Pre-computed analytics: tier/type distributions, corroboration groups, diagnostic values, timeline, element state summaries
