Create Folder

Create a bookmark folder.

Bookmarks land in the folder's unsorted bucket by default; use POST /{folder_id}/move/{bookmark_id} to file them. Folders are ordered by position (set to the existing count on create, so new folders append).

Auth required. Per-user cap: MAX_FOLDERS (20). Whitespace-only names are rejected.

Errors:

  • 400 (INVALID_INPUT) if name trims to empty.
  • 400 (LIMIT_EXCEEDED) if the caller already has 20 folders.
