Split a case

Split a case into two separate cases by partitioning its documents into two groups.

Path parameters

keystring uuid required

Case UUID (the stable resource id).

Request body

partition_bstring[] required

Document IDs that move out into the newly-created case (non-empty strict subset). Everything not listed stays on the existing case.

partition_astring[]

Informational only — the kept documents are derived as the complement of partition_b.

Response

Case split.

source_idstring uuid required

UUID of the existing case (retains the documents not listed in partition_b).

new_case_idstring uuid required

UUID of the newly created case holding the partition_b documents.

movedinteger required

Count of documents moved into the new case.
