Split a PDF

Split one PDF into several new files: one per comma-separated range (mode "ranges"), or one per page (mode "pages"). Files are written to output_folder.

Same tool as the MCP server's pdf_split. Runs before responding; for long work, POST /v1/jobs instead.

Request body

inputstring required

Path to a PDF inside an allowed folder (absolute, or relative to the first allowed folder).

pagesstring

Page numbers or ranges, such as "1, 3-5". Omit for every page.

mode'ranges' | 'pages'
output_folderstring required

Folder for the new files, inside an allowed folder; created if missing.

Response

The result. Any new files are written inside the allowed folders.
