๐ฎ Get the Steam Online and In-Game Player Counts
Baseurl: https://www.steamwebapi.com/steam/api/info/platform-players?key=YOUR_API_KEY
๐ฌ **What this endpoint does:**
- Returns how many people are on Steam right now and how many of them are in a game, as Valve publishes it, measured every 5 minutes.
- Adds the share in game, the change against the same moment yesterday, today's peaks with their time, the record peaks and a history series.
๐ ๏ธ **Features:**
- `range=24h` returns every 5-minute reading, `7d` and `30d` hourly values (average, peak and low of the hour), `90d`, `1y` and `all` daily values.
- `samples` shows how many readings stand behind an hourly or daily value.
- `peakscope` tells whether `peakonline` and `peakingame` are all-time records (`alltime`) or the highest readings since measuring began (`sincemeasurementstart`).
๐ **How to use:**
- Show the headline figures on a dashboard and draw the chart from `series`.
- Per-game player counts and their history come from `/steam/api/apps/{appid}/players`.
