Query parameters

idstring required

Explicit series id. Forms: worldbank/NY.GDP.MKTP.KD.ZG, imf/NGDP_RPCH, dbnomics/IMF/WEO:latest/BRB.NGDP_RPCH.pcent_change, caribstat/ECCB/{table}/{ISO3}.{a|q|m}, caribstat/CBB/{table}/{sheet}. CaribStat ids cover the eight ECCU territories, the currency-union aggregate and Barbados, including Anguilla and Montserrat, which are not World Bank reporting economies. Append '#Row Label' to select one row of a multi-row table. Where a source repeats a label under different headings, the selector is refused as ambiguous and each occurrence is reachable as '#Row Label[1]', '[2]' and so on; the served label then reads 'Row Label [2 of 3]' and can be pasted back in as a selector.

countrystring

Required for worldbank/* ids. Not used by caribstat/* ids, which carry their geography in the id.

rowstring

Row of a multi-row caribstat table, given without the '#'. In a URL a raw '#' starts a fragment and never reaches the server, so row=Public Sector Debt is the fragment-free spelling of id=...%23Public%20Sector%20Debt. Sending the row both ways, or sending it with a non-caribstat id, is refused with a 400.

strict_sourceboolean

Reproducibility mode for registry-key ids: never substitute the fallback source. No effect on explicit source-prefixed ids.

fallback_usedboolean

True when the primary source failed and a fallback source served this result, in which case the value may reflect a different statistical definition. The field is absent on primary-source responses.

fallback_reason'transient' | 'definitive'

Present only alongside fallback_used: 'transient' means a source ranked above the serving one failed temporarily and may serve a different value for the same query once recovered (verify_stat demotes such verifies to cannot_verify); 'definitive' means the primary permanently lacks this series/country (e.g. Taiwan in WDI), so the fallback is that combination's stable serving source and verifies are judged normally with disclosure. It is also set when the primary simply has no value for the requested period.
