Only sites within radius of a place: a town or city name, a postcode, or lat,lng. A name that fits several places takes the biggest, with places in the country= filter first; the response names the one used in near. Give radius too. A site we could not place never matches. A place we cannot find returns 400 invalid_near naming it; while the place filter is switched off, 400 location_filter_off.

How far from near: 30mi or 50km, a bare number being km. From 5 to 248 miles (8 to 400 km); outside that returns 400 invalid_near.

Shorthand setting both floors below. The two per-dimension parameters win where both are supplied.

Category floor, 0 to 1. No floor by default: every category we hold is served with its confidence. Set 0.9 to match the public site.

Country floor, 0 to 1. No floor by default. Set 0.45 to match the public site; 0.9/0.45 together reproduce the figures published on /data.
