Generate random values

Draw cryptographically secure random bytes from a FIPS 140-3 Level 3 validated hardware security module, XORed with an independent local CSPRNG, and return them in the requested format. There is no software fallback: when the hardware source is unavailable the request fails instead of returning weaker entropy. Each call draws its request and response bytes from the account bandwidth pool.

How much to generate: 1 to 1024 bytes, or 1 to 512 for alphanumeric, alphanumeric-mixed, password, whose characters take two raw bytes each from one hardware draw. For a character format it is the output length in characters. A uuid always draws 16 bytes, but the value is still required and checked.
