Public API - Deposits

Create a deposit request

Initiates a new deposit transaction. Send exactly one of amount (coin flow) or amountUsd (USD flow). For crypto methods, prefer amountUsd; backend validates the live NOWPayments minimum before creating the payment.

Request body

depositMethodIdstring uuid required

Deposit method id from GET /v1/deposits (list of available methods).

amountnumber

Deposit amount in coins. Must be at least the minAmount declared by the chosen deposit method. Mutually exclusive with amountUsd.

amountUsdnumber

USD package amount for deposit. Backend computes credited coin using deposit_usd_to_coin_rate. Mutually exclusive with amount.

Response

Deposit request created successfully. paymentData carries the gateway reference (EMV QR string for QRIS, virtual-account number for bank transfer, crypto address for USDT/USDC). Render that, do not poll the deposit row.
