Search and list catalog entries

Returns listings filtered by type, category, owner, or free text. Always pass limit (max 2000). Default sort is real installs descending. This is the same read the website search and hubs use.

Query parameters

qstring

Keyword match on name, description, repo, or author.

semanticstring

Natural-language semantic search (embedding cosine). Falls back to q when embeddings are unavailable.

Single listing type.

Comma-separated types when a hub spans more than one.

categorystring

Catalog category slug when filtering a hub.

Rank key. Default is real installs descending.

Cap rows (1–2000). Recommended for every agent call.

offsetinteger

Skip this many rows (offset pagination). Prefer cursor on /api/v1/listings.

Public catalog version. Current and only version is 1. Unversioned /api/upstream/* is an alias of /api/v1/*. Deprecation will be signaled with Deprecation + Sunset headers before a version is removed. No version is deprecated today.
