A day's market cap = the close adjusted for splits only (the traded price) × shares outstanding on that date (SEC filings), scaled to the share count the desk uses today: the last value is the desk's market cap. Volume = close × volume (over 5 years: average volume per session of the week). Amounts in dollars. Built once per session.
