Upcoming bill votes that may move stocks
Bills and Senate motions coming up for a vote in Congress that could move specific stocks or sectors.
For each upcoming vote you get:
- When it's expected — a date range (exact timing often isn't set yet) plus how confident and precise that estimate is (window).
- What it affects — the sectors and tickers, and how. Every ticker is checked against the actual bill text, so none are made up.
- Pass odds (passOutlook) and how it's being considered (bills on the "suspension calendar" pass ~98% of the time).
- A plain-language summary of what the bill does.
- A flag (conflictBadge) when the bill's sponsor has disclosed a trade in one of the affected stocks.
An empty list is normal — it just means no market-moving votes are scheduled in your date range, not an error.
Note: sponsor trades are restatements of public STOCK Act disclosures (showing both the trade date and the disclosure date) — they are not evidence of wrongdoing.
