The symbols with the highest volume so far in the current trading day (the UTC day for crypto, the regular session for US stocks), highest first. Stocks are ranked by raw volume; crypto by estimated dollar volume (volume times current price), because coin sizes are not comparable across symbols. meta.ranked_by says which. Available for stocks and crypto only. Before the first bar of a new day (stocks pre-market, weekends, holidays) it shows the previous day's totals.
