Converts an amount between any supported forex or crypto symbols at the current mid-market rate. Converting an asset to itself returns rate 1.

fromstring required

Source currency or token (e.g. USD, BTC). Case-insensitive.

tostring required

Target currency or token (e.g. GBP, ETH). Case-insensitive.

amountnumber

Amount to convert. Defaults to 1 (returns just the rate).

Converted amount and the rate applied.

fromstring

Echo of the source symbol.

tostring

Echo of the target symbol.

amountnumber

Amount sent in.

ratenumber

Rate applied; amount × rate = result.

resultnumber

Converted amount.

tinteger

Timestamp of the underlying market rate (Unix epoch ms).
