Quotes

Create a quote

Price the requested trade across every eligible rail and return a snapshot ranked best-first. With ?wait=1 the call blocks until pricing completes; otherwise it returns a pending snapshot to poll via GET /v0/quotes/{id}. With ?named=1 only named options are returned and accepted: the payment reaches the beneficiary under the end customer's own legal name.

Query parameters

waitboolean

Pass 1 / true / yes / on (case-insensitive) to block until pricing completes. Otherwise the pending snapshot returns immediately — poll GET /v0/quotes/{id} for results.

namedboolean

1, true, yes or on (case-insensitive) to price and offer only named options: the payment reaches the beneficiary under the end customer's own legal name. Only routes that can be named are priced, so the best quote is the best named one, and accepting the quote only ever takes a named option. 0, false, no or off, or omitting it, returns every option, each reporting is_named. Any other value, including a bare ?named, is a 400.

If none of the routes that will price the payment can be named, the request fails at once with 422 NoNamedQuote and no snapshot is created (a retryable 503 when such a route was only briefly unavailable). A pending snapshot lists no options until pricing finishes. Once it does (in this response with wait, or on a later GET /v0/quotes/{id}) without a named option, the snapshot returns the error of a named route that failed (the same error a request without named returns when every option fails; a 503 without Retry-After when a named route couldn't be priced right now), or 422 NoNamedQuote when no named route priced. Either way the snapshot won't change: create a new quote.

Request body

amountstring required

Amount to trade, denominated in the currency of the leg named by amount_leg (the source leg by default).

amount_leg'source' | 'destination'

Which leg a quote request's amount is denominated in. Source fixes what the customer pays ("exact-in", the default); Destination fixes what the recipient receives ("exact-out") and prices the required source amount.

developer_fee_bpsinteger nullable

Your own developer fee in basis points (100 = 1%), added on top of the quoted rate. At most 999 (9.99%).

developer_fee_flatstring nullable

Your own flat developer fee, as a decimal string in the source leg's currency ("1.50"). Charged in addition to developer_fee_bps and shown to your customer as its own fee line. Supported on stablecoin-funded payments; a quote that requests one on an unsupported corridor is rejected rather than priced without it.

end_customer_idstring uuid required

The end customer this quote is for.

end_customer_type'individual' | 'business' | 'business_individual' | 'org'

Response

Quote snapshot.

best_quote_idstring uuid nullable

id of the server's recommended quote. Matches quotes[0].id today (the array is ranked) — exposed explicitly so clients don't have to depend on the ordering invariant.

created_atstring date-time required
idstring uuid required
status'pending' | 'ready' | 'expired' required
