GET /api/passages/{refs}
Maps each requested ref to the canonical passage that contains it. Particularly useful for Talmud sugyot — a single amud ref is mapped to the full sugya boundary. Also works for Tanakh, where a verse maps to its parasha-style passage. Pass a pipe-delimited list of refs.

Path parameters
A pipe-delimited list of Sefaria refs. A Sefaria ref is a human-readable text citation, e.g. Genesis 1:1, Berakhot 2a, or Rashi on Genesis 1:1. Use dots for section separators in the URL, e.g. Berakhot.2a|Genesis.1.1.
Response
Successful Response
A map keyed by the requested Sefaria ref. Each value is the canonical passage ref that contains it — for Tanakh a parasha-style passage, for Mishnah a chapter passage, for Talmud a full sugya boundary.
