<Note>transaction_price is the price for the part of the property that changed hands, interest_pct (0.5 means half). basis_value is a reference price for that same part, so the two line up: a sale at 120m against a basis_value of 100m went for 20% above it. basis says what the reference is: the latest valuation, the book_value or the original purchase_price. It varies from deal to deal, so compare each price with its own basis_value, not with other deals.</Note>
