One index of everything needed to build against this store: the OpenAPI contract, the free preflight and conformance endpoints, the MCP server, the CLI, and the conventions — authentication (there is none, and no account or API key exists), the RFC 9457 error model, the rate-limit headers, and the versioning and deprecation policy. HTML for browsers, JSON otherwise, markdown when the Accept header prefers it. Also served at /docs and /api, which carry a canonical link back here.

This door negotiates: text/html, text/markdown, application/json, parsed with q-values (RFC 9110 §12.5.1). A bare wildcard or no header gets text/html; a named AI reader that states no preference gets markdown where it is offered. The answer carries Vary.

If-None-Matchstring

Send a prior ETag (SHA-256 of exact response bytes). Unchanged content returns 304 with no body.
