Search public events by keyword, location, category, distance, date range and attendance format, with ordered results and cursor pagination. Each successful request costs 1 account credit, including partial results. Failed requests cost 0 credits.

Required keyword query, 1–200 characters.

locationstring required

Meetup location slug returned by Locations, such as gb--london or us--ny--new-york.

category_idstring

Category identifier returned by Categories.

distance'twoMiles' | 'fiveMiles' | 'tenMiles' | 'twentyFiveMiles' | 'fiftyMiles' | 'hundredMiles' | 'anyDistance'

Source distance preset: twoMiles, fiveMiles, tenMiles, twentyFiveMiles, fiftyMiles, hundredMiles or anyDistance. Meetup interprets presets using the location and locale.

cursorstring

Pass nextCursor with the same request parameters to retrieve the next page.

start_datestring date-time

ISO 8601 start date-time, supplied together with end_date.

end_datestring date-time

ISO 8601 end date-time, equal to or after start_date.

event_type'online' | 'inPerson'

online or inPerson.

sort'RELEVANCE' | 'DATETIME'

RELEVANCE or DATETIME.
