Memories

Create Memory Smart

Create a memory using the hybrid architecture.

By default, memories start in short-term storage (Redis) and are automatically promoted to long-term storage (PostgreSQL + Qdrant) when:

  • Accessed 3+ times (frequently used)
  • Content contains important keywords (orders, preferences, etc.)

Set force_long_term=true to skip short-term and store directly in long-term.

This is the recommended way to create memories.
