Report a bug, an idea or a missing capability to the RedditAPIs team, typically sent by an AI agent (the redditapis-mcp server drafts reports locally and posts them only after the user reviews them). Free, does not consume credits. Rate-limited to 10 requests per minute per API key. Every rejection is a 400 whose body names the offending field ({error:"invalid_request", field, message}). Cost: Free per call.

bug: a tool or endpoint misbehaved. idea: a change that would have made the task easier. missing_capability: something no endpoint provides.

titlestring required

One specific line naming the endpoint or tool and the defect. 1 to 120 characters.

detailsstring required

What happened (observed vs expected), a minimal repro, and the evidence, optionally after a one-line summary of the goal. No quotes of the conversation. 1 to 8000 characters.

areastring

Optional. The endpoint or feature the report is about, e.g. "posts/comments" or "monitoring". At most 80 characters.

evidenceobject

Optional identifiers only, never payloads: {tool, endpoint, status, request_id, client, mcp_version}. Must serialize to 4096 bytes or fewer.

clientstring

Optional. The client that sent the report, e.g. "claude-code/2.1.259 via redditapis-mcp@0.4.0". At most 120 characters.
