Revoke an API key

Runs and jobs started with the key stop at their next step. Revoking the workspace's only active key leaves no key that can call the API, so it needs ?confirm_revoke=true; without it the call is 409 confirmation_required and nothing is revoked. Create a new key first. If no key is left, "Lost your key?" on the console login emails a link to get a new one.

Scope: account:manage. Acts on the account; keys bound to a customer are refused.

Required to revoke the workspace's only active key. Ignored when other active keys remain.

Headers

Idempotency-Keystring

Optional on this route. At most 128 characters. When present, the same key and body replays the first response for 24 hours. A different body is 409 idempotency_key_reused. A second call waits for the first and replays it. Omit the header to run the request normally.

API version. Defaults to the version the key was created with. Supported: 2026-10-13.
