Create Chat

Creates a chat with specified phone number, username or chat id. Returns an existing chat if it already exists.

chat_id is the messenger's own id of the chat (a Telegram user id, a Max dialog id). Which of the three identifiers a connection accepts is reported by create_chat in GET /chats/sources/.

If a new chat or a new contact have been created, created_chat/created_contact will be true.

You may pass contact_id to link the chat to an existing contact, if it's not linked to any other contact yet.
