Registry

ListTemplates

Lists templates with optional filtering, search, and pagination. A template comes from one of three places: the Pulumi Registry, Pulumi's own getting-started templates, or a collection an organization configured against a version control provider. All three are returned by default; repeat the 'backing' parameter to select only some of them. Templates in an organization's collections are fetched from the provider on every request, so listings that include them are considerably slower than the other two. No authentication is required, but only registry-backed templates are visible to an unauthenticated caller. Results can be filtered by template name and owning organization (orgLogin). The search parameter performs case-insensitive partial matching against the template name, display name, description, metadata values, and runtime language. Registry-backed results are paginated with a default limit of 100 per page; use the continuationToken from the response to retrieve subsequent pages. The other two are not paginated and ignore the limit parameter. Each entry in the response includes the template's name, publisher, source, display name, description, runtime, language, readme URL, download URL, visibility, and updated timestamp. A collection that cannot be reached is skipped and reported in the diagnostics field rather than failing the request.
