Request body

emailstring required

The email address for the new account.

localestring nullable

The language of the page the user signs up on ("en" or "fr"), which every email to the account then uses.

passwordstring required

The password for the new account: 12 to 128 characters with an uppercase letter, a digit, and a special character.

preview_tokenstring nullable

The preview_token that POST /api/auth/signup-preview returned for this same address: its result stands in for the check registration would otherwise run again. Ignored when unknown, expired, or issued for another address.

Response

Registration accepted. Same response whether the email was new or already registered.
