Render a map image

Renders a map image from a layer definition provided in the request body. Use this for an ad-hoc map that does not need to already exist as a named resource in the repository. Returns gif, png, jpg, bmp, jpeg, or tiff based on the imageFormat parameter.

For a map that is already saved in the repository, use Render a named map image instead.

Resource dependencies: Any named layers or tables referenced by name must already exist in the repository.

Authorization: Requires EXECUTE permission on any named layers or tables referenced by name.
