Trunk quarantine debt by owning team

The standing Trunk quarantine debt: every test Trunk currently quarantines (failures suppressed in CI), attributed to the team that owns its file in the repository, aged against a TTL, and rolled up per team with the most indebted first. A quarantine only masks a test; it never fixes it, so this is the work queue of tests someone still has to repair or delete. available is false when no TrunkIo source has the QuarantinedTests endpoint synced: that is not an error.

  • URL: https://us.posthog.com/api/projects/{project_id}/engineering_analytics/trunk_quarantine/
  • Auth: HTTP bearer

Path parameters

project_idstring required

Project ID of the project you're trying to access. To find the ID of the project, make a call to /api/projects/.

Query parameters

repostring

'owner/name' repository to scope to when the selected source syncs several repositories (from the sources list). Defaults to the source's first repository.

source_idstring uuid

Connected GitHub data warehouse source to read from. Defaults to the oldest connected GitHub source when the team has more than one.

Response

availableboolean required

False when no TrunkIo source has the QuarantinedTests endpoint synced; not an error.

owners_resolvedboolean required

False when the repository's ownership files could not be read, so every test reads as 'unowned' for that reason rather than because no team claims it.

ttl_daysinteger required

Days a quarantine may stand before it counts as overdue.

repositorystring required

The 'owner/name' repository the debt was read for; test file paths are relative to it.

trunk_urlstring nullable required

The Trunk app's flaky-tests page for this repository; null when the connected source has no organization slug.

truncatedboolean required

True when more tests are quarantined than limit. The per-team counts then cover only the returned tests, so treat them as lower bounds.

limitinteger required

Maximum tests returned, oldest quarantine first.
