Text to translate: send as JSON string, string[], or object in the raw body (see Input types in docs).

source_languagestring

Source language code or auto for detection.

target_languagestring required

Target language code (required). Must be one of the 35 supported codes.

target_localestring

Optional regional variant (e.g. de-AT, en-GB). From GET /translate/languages → data.target_locale.variants. Prompt hint only.

tier'basic' | 'premium' | 'ultra'

Quality tier: basic (fast), premium (balanced), ultra (best).

preserve_termsstring[]

String, string[], or object keys kept verbatim on all tiers (basic/premium/ultra). Up to 150 unique terms (1–100 chars each). HTTP 400 PRESERVE_TERMS_LIMIT beyond that.

preserve_terms_presetstring

Optional server preset merged with preserve_terms, e.g. paperoffice_brand.

client_waitboolean

true = inline translation. false or async_only=true = immediate job_id; poll GET /job/get/{job_id} until job_status is completed.

async_onlyboolean

Force immediate job_id (same as client_wait=false). optional JSON body field.
