Stream Chat

Streaming chat endpoint using Server-Sent Events (SSE).

History is loaded server-side from the chat_id to prevent prompt injection via client-controlled history. The client only sends the new message and the chat_id.

This endpoint enables an agentic conversation where the AI can:

  • Explore and search data sources
  • Generate insights and visualizations
  • Plan and create dashboards

The response is streamed as SSE events with the following types:

  • text_delta: Partial text from the assistant
  • tool_start: Tool execution starting
  • tool_result: Tool execution completed with result
  • error: An error occurred
  • done: Stream complete
