Create an organization

Creates a client organization in the calling partner's estate.

Idempotent on external_org_id: repeating the call returns the existing organization with 200 rather than creating a second one, so a retry after a dropped response is safe. A first creation answers 201.

On a repeat, name is ignored — the response carries the organization's current name. Use PATCH to rename.

Requires the organizations:write partner scope.

external_org_idstring required

Your identifier for the organization. Creation is idempotent on this value: repeating the call returns the organization you already created rather than a second one. It appears in the URL of the organization's own endpoints, so it may not contain slashes or whitespace.

namestring

Display name. Defaults to the external identifier when omitted.
