x-os3-subjectstring

Your end user's id, sent with every request (never to your provider). A canary sends a share of your users, not of requests, to its candidate, each user's requests to the same side: without this header or x-os3-session the gateway key is the one user, so either all or none of the key's requests go to the candidate.

x-os3-sessionstring

A session's id (never sent to your provider): the user a canary splits requests by when x-os3-subject is not sent.
